Password Issues
Forgotten Password
- Go to https://portal.office.com
- Click "Can't access your account?" under the username field
- Select "Work or School account" as your account type
- You will then be prompted for your username or email and a CAPTCHA
- So long as you entered your phone number upon first logging into your account you should be redirected to the next step
- If you get a message stating password reset hasn't been set up, open a help ticket
- Verify your identity via MFA or phone
- Choose a new password
- Click "Finish"
Password Change
- Go to https://aka.ms/mysecurityinfo
- Sign in using your username and password
- Click on the "Password" in the left-hand column
- Type in your new password and confirm it
- Click "Submit"
