How to Check for Academic/Financial Holds

This will show you how to check to see if any AAC offices have issued a hold on your account that may restrict your ability to access certain areas of MyAcademy such as the registration portal or final grades.

Log into MyAcademy using your Single Sign-On credentials (AAC email login). Your “Home Page” is your student dashboard with six orange buttons on a teal background.

  • You may notice below your name at the top right of the page, some text in red indicating you have a hold.
  • To review any and all holds, navigate to the menu at the far left of the page and select “My Info”, then “Student Holds”
  • On the next screen, you will see a summary of any active holds, along with a brief message informing you of the hold and which office you need to follow-up with to resolve the hold.
  • Contact the appropriate office for additional information
  • Once the hold has been resolved, that office will remove the hold which should take effect immediately.
